Dr. Lindsey Hurlbut, DC

Dr. Lindsey Hurlbut, DC

Dr. Lindsey Hurlbut graduated with her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University College of Chiropractic in 2013. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Biology, emphasis in Health and Medicine, minor in Psychology from Minnesota State University, Moorhead where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Being raised on a small cattle farm northwest of Brandon Minn., it had always been a dream of Dr. Lindsey’s to own her own clinic in the greater MN lakes area. After practicing for 6 years in a suburb of the Twin Cities, this dream became a reality in 2019 with the establishment of Arrow Health in Sauk Centre, Minn.

Dr. Lindsey strives to help her patients achieve their optimal health, naturally. She is truly diversified in her chiropractic approach, using various techniques including manual, Activator, applied kinesiology (muscle testing), Thompson drop and flexion-distraction in order to adjust the joints of the body most effectively. She is also skilled in her approach to musculature, providing manual muscle therapy, trigger point therapy, MRT (muscle release technique), HyperVolt (percussion therapy), IASTM and cupping therapies. She has additional training in extremity diagnosis and treatment, providing direct and specific adjustments beyond the spine to areas such as the shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and more – even the jaw and ribcage. She aims to get to the true root of the problem and takes pride in diagnosing whether or not an individual complaint or concern is musculoskeletal in nature and related to chiropractic, or if there is more involved. She works confidently with prenatal and pregnant women and is Webster Certified to balance the pregnant pelvis. As a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), Dr. Lindsey is qualified to treat newborns, infants and children with gentle and safe chiropractic techniques.

Dr. Lindsey resides a few miles north of Sauk Centre with her husband, Dan, their three children, James, Charlie, and Kristy. They have a friendly German shepherd, Granger, that often tags along to the clinic. In her spare time she enjoys time with family, camping and hiking, and reading a good book with a choice coffee.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Dr. Jordan grew up in the town of Cambridge, Minnesota where she was heavily involved in the sports hockey, soccer and tennis. She has years of coaching both hockey and soccer and hopes to both play and coach again here in this community.

Dr. Jordan continued her hockey career after high school at a college in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania before transferring back to Minnesota to be closer to home. In addition, Dr. Jordan has a passion for pediatric and prenatal care. She is Webster Certified and continues to pursue additional training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Dr. Jordan believes that every pregnant woman, infant and child deserves to be under chiropractic care to not only achieve the best birth outcome but also promote a happy, healthy childhood as they continue to grow.

She uses various techniques such as manual, Thompson drop, Activator, Applied Kinesiology, Logan Technique and Webster technique. She is Graston Technique certified which is an instrument assisted soft tissue manual therapy. She has additional training in extremity treatment to areas such as shoulder, wrists, hips, knees, jaws and more.

Dr. Jordan is excited to be back in central Minnesota after living and providing chiropractic care in Rochester for the past year. She resides in the area with her boyfriend who is also named Jordan, small fluffy dog named Maci, and two cats named Squirrel and Raven.
